Opening Stock
A minimum of 8 styles is required to place an opening sample order for US accounts and 10 styles for international accounts. Samples are shipped in size 6 unless otherwise specified. Typical lead time for sample orders is 14 weeks, although some styles may be delivered sooner depending on availability. Please specify if you have a shorter timeline or special requests. A 50% deposit on opening sample orders is required—balance is due at the time sample order is ready to ship. Please review your order carefully to make sure it is correct. Changes to orders are granted on a case-by-case basis depending on the production schedule.
Sales Exclusivity
Regional exclusivity is granted to shops placing an opening order of 12 gowns or more, and 5 gowns from each subsequent seasonal collection. Exclusivity is for one year and may be reviewed at close of season depending on sales. Exclusive accounts receive priority for client referrals, trunk shows, designer visits, and media promotion.
Current Accounts
Elizabeth Dye will release two collections each year, coinciding with New York International Bridal Week in October and April. To maintain active account status we ask that accounts either maintain a collection of 8 current styles with a minimum 3 piece order per calendar year.
Standard Order Time
Our standard order time is 14 weeks. The ship date provided at the time of order is an estimated date that the dress will ship from our studio. There are, occasionally, small delays (dresses also sometimes ship early). Order changes may result in delayed delivery. We are mindful of deadlines and will always ensure an order arrives in advance of the wear date.

Shipping
Providing us with your shipping account number for either FedEx or UPS can reduce freight charges and help ensure prompt shipping. If no account is available the standard charge will be $35 per dress for domestic shipments with additional charges for international or expedited shipping services.
Dress Loans
Whenever possible, we are happy to loan a sample not carried by your shop when a bride requests it. The size of the loaned sample will depend on available stock. Shipping will be charged to the borrowing shop along with a $200 fee chargeable to the bride. We will be happy to apply the $200 fee as a credit if the bride places an order for any Elizabeth Dye gown.
Trunk Shows
Trunk shows are an exciting marketing and promotional opportunity for both Elizabeth Dye and our accounts. Although Elizabeth Dye will not offer a wholesale discount, many stores choose to offer 10% off of the retail price for the duration of the trunk show. The current Elizabeth Dye gown collection will be available on loan for 3 day trunk shows up to twice per year for all active accounts. Please contact orders@elizabethdye.com to schedule a trunk show.
Modifications/Customization
All Elizabeth Dye dresses are made as sampled; any available color or trim variations are noted. Simple custom requests can usually be granted for an additional charge – please inquire with any special situations. This includes custom patterning for plus sizes, extra length, trains, cap sleeves, custom colors, custom trims and other modifications.
Length
Standard skirt length for full length gowns in 45” from natural waist to hem. Standard skirt length for short dresses is 27” from waist to hem. Extra skirt length may be ordered in every dress style. Please consult the current 2016 price list for fees and guidelines for ordering additional length.
Alterations
The price of the garment does not include alterations. Elizabeth Dye dresses are constructed so that they may be tailored to fit by a competent seamstress.
Return Policy
Because all garments are made to order, there are no exchanges or returns. All sales are final.
Billing
Credit card authorization is required for new accounts (Visa or Mastercard). Payment by wire transfer is our preferred method for international accounts. Payment is due at the time an order is ready to ship. Net 15 terms and payment by check are available to established clients. Please contact us to arrange or alter payment terms.
Quality Control
We maintain high quality standards and inspect every dress before it leaves our studio. Please do the same with any dress shipment you receive; if you observe any damage or defect to a gown, notify us within 7 days of receiving the dress so that we may respond promptly.
SIZING
Elizabeth Dye dresses are made to standard sizes 0 - 12. The sizes on the chart below reflect the body measurements recommended for each size, not the measurements of the dress itself. Whenever possible, have your measurements taken professionally. Choose the larger size if you fall between sizes. Since dresses are made to standard sizes and not your individual body measurements, some alterations are to be expected.
Plus sizing is available for several dress styles for an additional charge. If you fall outside the size chart, just inquire with your request--I'd be happy to discuss the available options.
